Celebrations as students receive GCSE results
Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy is celebrating with its Year 11 students as they receive their GCSE results and embark on the next stage of their journeys
The school is celebrating the achievements of its students, who have shown resilience and ambition throughout their studies and are now preparing to take their next steps in education, training or employment.
This year’s cohort performed well in English language, with strong high pass rates across the cohort, as well as in subjects including graphics, Spanish and catering.
While all students have achieved well, some standout individual achievements include:
- Safia achieved a Grade 9 in English language, English literature and psychology, a Grade 8 in chemistry and maths, and a Distinction* in sport.
- James received a Grade 9 in English literature, a Grade 8 in maths and a Grade 7 in chemistry and English language.
- Alexanda secured Grade 9s in physics, music, maths, English literature, English language and Chinese, as well as Grade 8s in biology, chemistry and history
- Isabelle achieved Grade 8s in science and English literature, as well as a Grade 7 in maths
- Asrin obtained a Grade 9 in music, maths and geography and Grade 8s in physics, English language, chemistry
- Isla was awarded a Grade 9 in English language, Grade 8 in English literature, a Grade 6 maths and Distinction in sport
- Alfie obtained a Grade 8 in maths and business, Grade 7 in English language and Grade 6 in chemistry and physics
- Elle received Grade 8 in English literature and history, a Grade 7 in art and a Distinction*
