Students at Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy, in Runcorn, are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results, as they get ready to take their next steps in their education journey.
Everyone has come together to mark the achievements of all the students, who have worked exceptionally hard over the past couple of years to secure these grades.
Students across the academy, which is sponsored by Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) performed well, with some of the individual standout achievements including:
Harry Savage who successfully achieved 2x grade 9s in Biology and Physics, 3x grade 8s in Maths, Chemistry and Business, 2x grade 7s in English Language and Literature and a Distinction* in Engineering.
Aidan Dobson who successfully achieved grade 9s in Chemistry, Physics and Geography, grade 8s in Biology, Maths and English Language, and x2 grade 7’s in English Literature and Spanish.
Emily Stewart who successfully achieved x3 grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, x3 grade 8s in Maths, English Language and Literature and Distinction* grades in both Business and Engineering
Bobby Cavanagh who successfully achieved a grade 9 in English, a grade 8 in Maths, x5 grade 7s in Spanish, Physics, English Literature, Biology and Chemistry and a Distinction* grade in sport.
